Spill Prevention

The surest way to avoid the environmental and economic costs of a spill is to prevent or contain it in the first place. Compliance checks serve as a preventative measure, but an effective spill plan, or lack thereof, will determine the ultimate price if and when a catastrophic event happens.  And bsides, it is the law.  If your facility includes an aboveground storage capacity of 1,320-gallons or more, or a buried storage capacity of 42,000-gallons or more for oil products, Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 112, requires that your facility have a written Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan.

Shield provides detailed and common-sense spill plans to provide information and guidance to your response teams before, during and after a spill occurs.
